Jane Mbeng Ako, MD

Dr. Jane Mbeng Ako, MD is a physician with military background and extensive medical training, providing comprehensive clinical care with a focus on women’s health and patient-centered practice.
Originally from Honduras, Dr. Ako moved to Tampa, Florida at the age of 12. She later served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, gaining discipline and leadership experience through military service.
Following her military service, Dr. Ako worked as a Radiology Technologist for over 10 years, building a strong foundation in diagnostic and clinical healthcare practices.
Dr. Ako earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Molecular Medicine from the University of South Florida. She completed her medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine.
She completed her residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, where she received advanced clinical training in obstetrics, gynecology, and general patient care.
Dr. Ako is dedicated to delivering comprehensive and structured medical care, combining her diverse background in military service, diagnostic medicine, and clinical practice.
